# Love Your Neighbour
To me, [Love Your Neighbour](LoveNeighbour) is a *universal principle*
common to *any and all* spiritual belief systems worth adopting.
How, on the basis of one's faith, we justify such a principle
may differ drastically, but *the destination is the same*. This is
akin to a software engineer defining an abstraction (like a file)
which is different depending upon the underlying foundations in
terms of hardware and operating system, but which behaves similarly
once written.
